THE GIRLS ARE COMING HOME!
Because of your generosity, we have met our goal of raising $370,000 to build a home for the girls of FCM at Finca Grace! We are overwhelmed by the grace of God in providing this incredible opportunity and we have you to thank for it!
Over the past few years, God has given us a desire and a mission to give the girls a permanent home on FCM’s 40-acre farm in Monte Redondo. And now, through the sacrificial giving of so many, we have raised the funds necessary to make this dream a reality.
Construction will begin in January so please continue to pray that this shelter will be a physical and spiritual refuge for these precious girls.

You are born to a single mom, and in order to survive, she lives at the garbage dump in a makeshift shack. You are one of three sisters, and you are hungry all the time because food is scarce. A tortilla and a few beans is your daily meal, and clothes are a luxury that you mother can’t afford. Then, one day, a ministry arrives at the dump, and your mom is offered an opportunity for you and your sisters to be placed in that ministry. Overnight your life changes. First, you are surprised when you get to eat three meals a day. Then you can’t believe that you have your own bed, and you don’t have to sleep with your sisters on a foam pad on the dirt floor. Next, you get new clothes, and you don’t have to share them with your sisters. Life has suddenly changed, and you begin to smile and laugh and experience joy that you’ve never known before.

“For the needy will not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the afflicted perish forever.” Psalm 9:18
You’re one of twelve children living on the side of a busy highway in a small, wooden shack. Your mom takes you downtown on the streets of the city and puts you in a cardboard box while she sells plants in the streets, trying to provide for the many mouths she has to feed. She is warned by the authorities that she can’t have you on the streets in a cardboard box. She has no other choice, and she continues to do it until one day a white van pulls up. Then you, along with your little brother, are suddenly taken and placed in a detention center operated by the child welfare department. Your parents have to appear before a judge, and the judge decides that you will not be allowed to return to your family. There’s a ministry that has been helping your family for some time, and they offer to take you into their ministry. The judge agrees, and overnight, your life changes. You flourish and grow, and you now have the opportunity to get an education and even attend the university.
