2022 Teams

After two long years, we are welcoming our teams back to Honduras! In an effort to provide the utmost protection and care of our kids, staff, missionaries, and team members, we are taking extra precautions and altering the format of our teams for the time being. We have limited the number of team members to 10 people total, blocked off the week before and week after each team to allow for thorough cleaning and to make sure that no illnesses are being passed from one team to another, and we are narrowing the focus of our ministry efforts to the boys and girls of FCM. TRIP philosophy

Our short term teams are an important element here at FCM. But they’re not the most important. The most important pursuit we have is to love, serve, and disciple the children that God has entrusted to us and we unashamedly use our teams to accomplish that goal. It’s not all one-sided, however. We believe God not only uses our teams to bless the people of Honduras, but to bless the team members who are serving as well. So our goal is to give you opportunities to pour yourself out and to be a part of the work that God is doing. Be a part of a bigger story.

Team makeup

Our teams are as unique as the people who serve on them. They are made up of bible-believing Christians that have joined together to support the ongoing ministry in Honduras. Teams consist of churches, families, friends, small groups, co-workers, or even community groups. Some teams use a specific skill set to serve in a distinct way, while others have a diverse group of members willing to serve in a variety of ways. Whether you’ve been on 100 mission trips or have never left your hometown, we would love for you to come serve alongside us as we share the love of Christ with the kids of FCM and the people of Honduras.

There is a minimum of 12 team members in order to reserve a week and a maximum of 40 (20 men and 20 women). Each team has a team leader who coordinates all logistics with FCM’s office and missionaries on the ground. If you are interested in joining a team or putting a team together, please reach out via our Contact page.
